I worked with Julie when she was part of the Education Welfare Service. She was a very popular and professional colleague to work with and a lovely kind person who always went the extra mile to support the most vulnerable. I have a vivid memory of her with a bag of baby/toddler clothes she was intending to take round to one of her families who were in need. Totally above and beyond her duty and typical of her kind nature. You will be sady missed Julie. Penny

I first met Julie over 12 years ago, when we started as Education Welfare Officers on the same day. We became friends and supported each other through all the challenges starting a new job brings. Julie always had a knack of knowing when I needed a chat, cup of tea or even a glass of wine! I remember sitting with her one day, on a bench in Dartford Park, having been on a home visit, eating lunch and chatting in the sunshine. When Julie moved on to a new job, we stayed in touch, meeting for meals and a chat which used to go on for hours as we would catch up on family and work news. Julie was a very special person, always thinking of others and going above and beyond to help people. I will miss you, Julie, and hope that the sun is shining down on you. Alison

I wish that today, tomorrow and always, may provide loving memories to bring some sort of peace, comfort and strength to get through this awful time.
